Trakm8 - Delivering Growth
Trakm8 Group, the designers, developers and manufacturers of Fleet Management Solutions are pleased to announce they have been successfully accepted into the number one marque of British manufacturing, Made in Britain. This supports and promotes British manufacturing enabling customers at home and abroad to identify British-made products.
Trakm8’s extensive portfolio of innovative telematics devices are designed, developed and manufactured in the UK, including the revolutionary T10 and T8 product families along with all accompanying add-ons. The devices are manufactured and dispatched across two sites, the manufacturing facility in the West Midlands, and the Head Office in Dorset.
Trakm8 has recently made a circa £500,000 investment to extend these manufacturing facilities. The investment into a new surface mount assembly line, which was in installed in April, will provide Trakm8 with a solid base from which it can service the significant increase in volumes expected during the course of the next year and beyond.
Trakm8 recognised a demand from the consumer for products that are manufactured in the UK. Since then Trakm8 have strived to bring all manufacturing operations, such as the Telematics PCB assembly to their state of the art facility in the West Midlands.
The decision to apply for membership with the Made in Britain organisation was made as Trakm8 continues to expand and push the boundaries of the telematics industry. They were driven by a decision to reassure customers that all their products are still home grown; as many companies expand one of the first things to be migrated abroad is the manufacturing operation. Trakm8 remain proud to be Made in Britain.

Before the Group acquired the manufacturing facility as part of the purchase of BOX Telematics, the majority of products were built in Devizes, Wiltshire. We frequently invite our customers to our facility in Coleshill to view their products being manufactured on one our state of the art, fully automated surface mount lines.”
