COME and join us at the amazing York Railway Museum on 24 September 2020 for the North Made in Britain Roadshow. You’ll gain valuable insight into four areas vital to growing your business: sales, marketing, PR/comms and export. We have expert speakers in all four disciplines who will present and then take your questions. There will also be time to network with fellow delegates and meet our exhibitors and the Made in Britain team during the breaks.

Here's a run-down of what we have in store for you on this fabulous and informative day-out:

Welcome from the chief executive of Made in Britain. John Pearce.

Made in Britain, why should we bother? Professor Dominic Medway, place marketing specialist, Institute of Place Management at Manchester Metropolitan University.
Made in Britain’s recent survey of 2,000 UK consumers indicates that around three-quarters of them would consider paying between one and 12 per cent more for British-made and manufactured products, provided they are of good quality. Furthermore, in another Made in Britain survey of their members, over 90 per cent identified it as important for UK businesses to try and source British-made products in their own supply chains.
Building on this work, Professor Dominic Medway will review some of the key potential benefits Made in Britain approved production and products could deliver for both businesses and consumers.
