Poppy’s Picnic is proudly based in the heart of beautiful Wiltshire. We make raw food for cats and dogs from ingredients that closely match what they would chose to eat in the wild. We do this with love and enthusiasm. In our office there are both passionate dog people and crazy cat people. And we are 100% focused on making a difference to their lives by feeding real food, one bowl at a time.

Poppy's Picnic launched in 2016 after CEO, Dylan Watkins overhauled his own diet. He quickly realised that processed kibble, pumped full of sugars, fillers and unidentifiable ‘meat derivatives’, couldn’t possibly be the best thing for his miniature schnauzer, Poppy.

After reading piles of books, and using every utensil in his kitchen, he set about making recipes that followed the Biologically Appropriate Raw Food diet.

Our mince, treats, and unique meatballs are convenient to the consumer and packed with goodness to improve and maintain a pet’s wellbeing. Four offers from the dragons of Dragons’ Den, a successful crowdfunding round, and a whole host of 5 star reviews from happy customers later, we are going strong!
