British specialists in air pressure control, Apreco, have recently renewed their 15-year partnership with Radical Materials antimicrobial brand SteriTouch®. Apreco products utilising SteriTouch® feature in their latest project, in which Apreco have assisted BDP Ltd & Laing O'Rourke in the design and development of several sections throughout the recently completed Grange University Hospital in South Wales.
The long-standing partnership addresses the issue of infection control in healthcare environments by utilising SteriTouch® antimicrobial powder paint across Apreco’s patented VARI-centric® range of air stabilisation systems. SteriTouch® powder paints can easily replace existing solutions and require no specialist equipment or alterations to the production process. This means that Apreco can not only maintain its regular manufacturing capacity but also provide exceptional antimicrobial properties to the many facilities seeking to control airborne contamination.
The antimicrobial performance of all SteriTouch® powder paint is verified by an independent UK laboratory using the ISO22196 test method, achieving a minimum 99.99% reduction of both MRSA and E. coli.
Upon renewing the venture, Nick Loader, Sales Director of Apreco, says: “We are extremely proud to be able to continue our long-standing partnership with SteriTouch®, during these uncertain times it is more important than ever to ensure that we keep up with the latest infection prevention measures. SteriTouch® gives us and our customers peace of mind that we are all doing all we can to support the fight against infection.”
