WE can hardly believe it ourselves. Five members of Made in Britain who complete our 2021 Buying British survey will be selected, totally at random, to receive an amazing box of luxury chocolates worth £15, courtesy of The London Chocolate Company.
Ilika Copeland, chief operations officer at Made in Britain said, "Our members know how valuable the annual Buying British survey is. It offers the perspective of the British manufacturing community providing the goods and services that are directly impacted by the shopping habits of the consumer and procurement buyers. Having the Made in Britain member responses also allows us to track how manufacturers' purchasing behaviour has changed as a result of the pandemic/Brexit over the years.
"The chocolates are our way of saying thank you to the lucky five. The very lucky five... "
The 2021 Buying British survey will launch this week (w/c 16 August) and be followed by a period of PR activity across mainstream media channels and trade titles. Last year's survey resulted in extensive coverage in national newspapers like the Daily Express, the Daily Telegraph and The Times. Trade title coverage included Manufacturing Management and the CIPS journal, Supply Management. The results showed a huge appetite for British-made products across the board, from UK consumers to senior procurement officials. Challenges included being able to clearly identify British-made products.
This year’s survey is live now and will be followed by a period of PR activity across mainstream media channels and trade titles. Members will be sent an email from the research company on Monday 26 August with a link to the online survey, or they can log in to their online profile and follow the link to the survey from this story here.
