Made in Britain launches the Impact Awards 2023

By John Pearce, Made in Britain CEO

Last year’s inaugural Impact Awards was one of the highlights of my year overall, seeing so many of our members taking part and reading through excellent entries from our growing membership. Seeing a members’ board room full of people leaping to the air when they won last year was thrilling and made me realise just how much people value their relationship with the unique Made in Britain mark.

The Made in Britain Impact Awards are open exclusively to all our members, that are accredited with the licence to use the collective mark. The awards will give you and your business the chance to tell your story of achievement and be recognised within manufacturing and your industry sector.

Impact is all about measurable improvement. Though it’s been another challenging twelve months for manufacturing overall, we’ve seen hundreds of very positive stories come through on #MiBnews - proof that our community is resilient, still growing, always achieving, and delighted to share their successful actions in business with others in this striving sector. We know that manufacturing success turns into success in many other parts of the British economy.

In our second year, the categories of this year’s Impact Awards have been broadened, but still focused on the measurable success of our members in marketing, sales, green and good business, team leadership, and innovation.

The awards are being judged by leading industry experts in their fields from across the UK and then celebrated at the awards ceremony in November with highly coveted trophies and an awards ceremony for you and your guests.

Every one of our members has a positive impact on their local communities, their regional development and the national economy. If your business is an active member of our organisation, you can enter yourself into any or all of the categories which will be announced on Monday, 19th June 2023. Entering is free and open to all members.
