You are invited to the Made in Britain Impact Awards 2022

All Made in Britain members and colleagues are invited to join us to celebrate the inaugural Made in Britain Impact Awards. At our virtual ceremony on Thursday 1st December at 13.00, we will be celebrating members’ achievements in becoming more sustainable businesses. Book your tickets here.

The awards ceremony will celebrate the shortlisted entries and overall winners in each of the 7 award categories:

1. Rising Star
2. Sustainability Team of the Year
3. Sustainable Initiative of the Year 
4. Sustainable Packaging Project of the Year
5. Employee Engagement Campaign of the Year
6. Innovation of the Year 
7. Leader of the Year

The awards ceremony will celebrate the shortlisted entries and overall winners in each of the 7 award categories. The event will be opened and led by head judge Professor Chris Harrop, OBE, Chair of Made in Britain and fellow judges Caterina Agnoletti, UN Global Compact Network UK; Mona Vadher LMP Action CIC; Victoria Page, VP Comms and Green Growth Programme Manager; Sarah George, Edie.net; Emily Auckland, Sustainability, Climate and SDG Expert; and Dominic Robinson, Soil Association.

The event will last an hour and will be opened by Chris Harrop, OBE, Chair of Made in Britain. Each category shortlist and winner will be announced by a different judge. 

Winners will receive the coveted Dartington Crystal glass vase trophy and a certificate after the awards ceremony to display proudly in their organisations. Shortlisted entries will receive a certificate. 

Judges

Head judge Professor Chris Harrop, OBE. Chair of Made in Britain and ESG Strategy Director at Marshalls plc.

Chris is a marketing and sustainability professional and Fellow of the IOD and IEMA with a proven global track record. 

 

 

 

Caterina Agnoletti, UN Global Compact Network UK.

Operations Manager at the UK Local Network of the United Nations Global Compact, Caterina supports the team on a variety of issues including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) agenda.

 

 

 

Mona Vadher LMP Action CIC.

Mona is an educational and skills policy expert with experience on Boards of Trustees and delivering senior-level partnerships across higher education government, and financial services.

 

 

 

Victoria Page, VP Communications and Green Growth Programme Manager.

Victoria (Tause) is the founder of consultancy firm, VP Comms. She is a regular Made in Britain contributor, a Fellow of the RSA, and founder of ‘Love Haslemere Hate Waste’ campaign.

 

 

 

Sarah George, Edie.net

An award-winning, NCTJ-certified multimedia journalist with a passion for telling stories that matter. Sarah is the in-house writer at edie.net, and the trusted source of news for sustainability and energy professionals.

 

 

 

Emily Auckland, Sustainability, Climate and SDG Expert.

An associate of the Global Compact Network UK (GCN UK) supporting their strategy and advocacy work. Emily works with purpose-led organisations on programmes and initiatives to create positive social and environmental impacts.

Entry criteria

Entries can only be accepted via info@madeinbritain.org. The awards are open to all members and you can enter as many categories as you wish.
