Product Description

UPM design & build its own control systems for the UPM range of conveyors.

• This control has the following specification:
• Rittal enclosure with T-bar locks & door safety interlock.
• Can accept 3ph 380v to 480v 50/60hz mains supply.
• 1 off Mains Isolator (disconnect).
• 1 off Panduit voltage alert.
• 1 off Allen Bradley Micro Logix PLC with Panelview 600 colour HMI.
• 5 off Allen Bradley Power flex 525 VFD with safe torque off & ferrite clamps, one for each conveyor drive motor.
• 2 off Allen Bradley contactors & 2 off Pilz safety relays.
• 1 off safety circuit for e-stop buttons connected to upstream safety circuit.
• 1 off safety circuit for the UPM mounted Schmersal door safety interlocks.
• 1 off Delta 24v dc power supply.
• 2 off Stratix 2000 un-managed switches.
• 7 off E.T.A circuit breakers. All components are UL Listed.
• This control safety function is Category 3 performance level D.
