SilverGuard antimicrobial air filters, incorporating IONIC+ silver technology, provide a simple, immediate and cost-effective antimicrobial solution.

The filter medium is designed to be incorporated into HVAC systems to sit alongside existing filters from a G4 panel to a bag filter. The filters aren’t a replacement for existing filters but an added barrier, but with minimal pressure drop.

IONIC+™ has extensive history and is used in various applications from consumer to healthcare and wound care. It carries various EN and FDA approvals. It’s not a chemical coating or nanotechnology; it uses permanently bonded pure metallic silver to the surface of a fibre. The IONIC+ technology has not only been tested against Covid-19 (SARS-CoV-2) but its efficacy has been tested against a wide array of bacteria, viruses and fungi including the common cold and influenza leading to a healthier environment, reducing potential staff sick days and helping to keep maintenance teams safe.
