SilverGuard reusable antimicrobial face masks are:

Antimicrobial: self-sanitising IONIC+™ antimicrobial silver layer plus polypropylene filter layer gives added assurance
Reusable: can be washed over 100 times

In line with World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines, SilverGuard offers a reusable three-layer face mask in a cupped design to keep you safe:

Inner IONIC+™ layer: the inner face mask layer incorporates IONIC+™ silver thread technology. Clinical studies have shown the efficacy of the IONIC+™ silver layer in inhibiting bacterial and virus growth – reducing 99.9% of pathogens on fabric within a four hour period. SilverGuard has also received clinical confirmation that non-woven fabric, metallised with silver, reduces Human Coronavirus between four and six times faster than the unmetallised control fabric
Middle polypropylene layer: comprised of 100% of non-woven, spunbond polypropylene, a common filtration component of face masks
Cotton outer: customisable by fabrics, colours and logos

Our face masks also offer a number of important attributes:

Filtration Efficiency: SilverGuard’s reusable face masks have been tested both pre and post washing, with results showing an average filtration efficiency of 90.5% – FFP1 masks have a minimum filtration efficiency of 80%
Fit: we offer two styles of mask (cupped and pleated) in two sizes (regular and large), which gives the wearer an option to choose a fit that is right for them and to avoid exposed areas and gaps around the edges
Sustainable: our yarns, materials and final products are woven and produced in the UK. IONIC+™ silver thread technology is not a nanotechnology or a complex chemical formula, the fabric is made by permanently bonding 100% pure metallic silver to the surface of a fibre. IONIC+™ is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Certified
No behaviour modification by users: our face masks do not require changing after every wear and they only need to be laundered when soiled as they are self-sanitising. The pure silver is bonded into every fibre. This cannot wash out, so the covering fabric will not lose its antimicrobial properties or performance, but remains safe, soft, flexible and comfortable
