SilverGuard’s IONIC+™ snoods are made in the UK using our silver thread technology which provides an added antimicrobial layer of protection. They also offer both a stylish and versatile alternative to a face mask and are an ideal alternative for outdoor activities. 

SilverGuard snoods offer you the following benefits: 

• IONIC+™ layer: our snood fabric incorporates IONIC+™ self-sanitising silver thread technology. This gives enhanced protection against both bacteria and viruses. Clinical studies have shown the efficacy of the IONIC+™ silver layer in inhibiting bacterial and virus growth – reducing 99.9% of pathogens on fabric within a four hour period. SilverGuard has also received clinical confirmation that non-woven fabric, metallised with silver, reduces Human Coronavirus between four and six times faster than the unmetallised control fabric.
• Fit and Comfort: our snoods come in three sizes (small, regular and large) and two colours (Charcoal and Navy), which gives you the option to choose a fit that is right for you. Our snoods are also very comfortable and versatile, offering full lower face coverage to help reduce the transmission of airborne particles
• Sustainable: our snoods are manufactured in the UK. The silver antimicrobial technology is not a nanotechnology or a complex chemical formula, the fabric is made by permanently bonding 100% pure metallic silver to the surface of a fibre. This means it will not wash out and lasts for the entire lifetime of the product. IONIC+™ is also OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Certified.
