Celebrating 125 years, our roots go back to 1897 based in Leicester where we currently still preside. Our roots are in producing steam boilers for the hosiery industry which thrived in Leicester at the time, but in the mid-1900s we started working within dust extraction for the early timber mills. Based in the same factory since 1903,  we proudly manufacture our equipment for the dust extraction industry; ranging from small units all the way up to large cyclo-filters.

Air Plants Dust Extraction Ltd are a family run business, strongly committed to safety, value and service. Supporting over 50,000 installations throughout the UK, our ongoing research and expert engineering make us innovators in the dust extraction industry.
Founded by Walter Smith over a century ago, Air Plants Dust Extraction Ltd enjoy a long-established relationship with the woodworking industry, timber, automotive and aerospace industries.

Air Plants Dust Extraction Ltd have expanded to supply systems for waste processing and recycling, and we are driven to developing and providing energy-saving solutions.
