AGD systems secures dual lot award with Newcastle City Council

AGD Systems, part of The Traffic Group (TTG), is delighted to announce its successful award in two lots under the Newcastle City Council framework for the Supply of Traffic Signal Equipment and Associated Products.

AGD has been appointed supplier for Lot 3 (ELV Pedestrian Equipment) and Lot 6 (Above Ground Detection). The contract covers an initial 24-month period, with the potential for two additional 12-month extensions.

This latest success builds on AGD’s strong and growing presence across the North East. Earlier this year, the company was also awarded a supply contract with Middlesbrough Council, further reinforcing AGD’s commitment to supporting the region’s transport infrastructure and ongoing investment in smarter, safer, and more efficient mobility solutions.

"We’re proud to strengthen our partnership with local authorities in the North East," said Kieran Corbally, Senior Commercial Manager. "These awards demonstrate confidence in AGD’s technology and our continued ability to deliver reliable, high-performance systems that help improve safety and traffic efficiency for all road users."

With a long-standing relationship with the Tees Valley and a continued focus on innovation, AGD Systems looks forward to contributing to the region’s transport network growth and sustainability initiatives.
