Enhanced Transformer Integration for HS2 Water Orton Viaduct
Electro-Wind Limited are proud to announce the successful deployment of our 40kVA IP65-rated transformer—featuring a 3.3kV 3PH Delta input and 400V 3PH Star +N+E output—to support vital infrastructure at the Water Orton Viaduct, a key component of the High Speed 2 (HS2) project.
This installation forms part of the Delta Junction, one of the most complex and ambitious elements of HS2's network in the Midlands. The junction will play a pivotal role in connecting Birmingham Curzon Street Station with Crewe and Manchester, helping to reshape the future of high-speed rail in the UK.
