Family-owned plastic packaging manufacturer Measom Freer has launched two brand-new recyclable swipe bottles for the industrial chemical market.
The new swipe bottles, which were launched at Packaging Innovations on February 12 and 13, are available in larger capacity 500ml and 1000ml options to support the company’s continued growth in the industrial sector. Manufactured at Measom Freer’s factory in Leicester, the new taller bottle shape is easier to grip and pour, which provides the user with the safe storage and dispensing of chemical products.
Produced in HDPE with the options of virgin HDPE, rHDPE, bio-HDPE and ocean prevented HDPE, the new swipe bottles offer a sustainable packaging alternative, supporting the growth of the circular economy and a lower carbon footprint. In addition, Measom Freer can offer a bespoke shoulder option enabling embossed/ debossed logos, labels or designs.
The launch of the new swipe bottle comes after Measom Freer’s latest investment in a new 10 litre, hybrid blow moulding machine to support the growth of sales in the chemical sector. Measom Freer production manager Ben Freer commented: “The continued investment in our industrial range through the addition of new ‘Swipe’ 500ml and 1000ml bottles demonstrates our commitment to this market sector.
“We believe we will stand out from the crowd with our bottles which will be brand customisable and offered in sustainable material choices.”
Established in 1937, Measom Freer is a fourth-generation family run business specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of injection and blow moulded plastic packaging.
Producing more than 20 million plastic bottles, scoops, closures and containers each year from its factory on Chartwell Drive in Leicester, the company prides itself on delivering quality, sustainable packaging solutions.
