Petrarch is thrilled to share that we have recently completed
ISO 9001:2015 (Quality) and ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental) audits.
We’ve done it!
After a very intense few days, we're pleased to share that we have successfully completed our ISO 9001:2015 (Quality) and ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental) audits.
Under the guidance of Mark Woods from Statius Management Services, and the scrutiny of assessor Toby Hyde of NQA - it has been extremely demanding, but we are thrilled with the result.
At Petrarch we strive for quality in everything we do and feel it’s important to invest in leading third party certification to assure our customers that not only can they be confident in the quality of our materials themselves but our processes and management systems too.
What all of this means for our customers:
✅ Even stronger focus on quality & customer satisfaction
✅ Systems built around manufacturing the highest quality Petrarch Panels & Downer framing systems
✅ A real commitment to sustainability & continuous improvement
Great little footnote in your recent congratulatory post Mark Woods regarding the fact that "Petrarch Panels are predominantly created from crushed marble and stone, by-product material from quarrying processes which would otherwise go to landfill - making us circular economy before it was even cool!"
Here’s to building a sustainable future together.
Why is ISO 9001 important?
"With more than one million certificates issued to organizations in 189 countries, ISO 9001 is the most widely used quality management standard in the world. Within the ISO 9000 family, which defines seven quality management principles including a strong customer focus and continual improvement, ISO 9001 is the only standard that can be certified to (though certification is not mandatory)."
ISO 9001 is defined as the internationally recognised standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS). It is the most widely used QMS standard in the world, with over 1 million certificates issued to organisations in 178 countries.
Well done everyone!
A huge thank you to our own teams, these assessments and the preparation thereof consecrates a great deal of time and energy and those efforts don't go unnoticed.
