Project Spotlight: Brass Wall Cladding in Aged Brass — JJ Mack Building
Metal Sheets Ltd fabricated and hand-patinated aged brass panels for floors 6–7 of the JJ Mack Building in London, delivering warm, durable brass wall cladding across receptions, boardrooms and social spaces. Manufactured entirely in Britain, we handled sheet supply, sampling, patination and panel fabrication in-house. Working from approved samples and control standards, our finishing team developed a controlled antique patina on natural brass sheet, sealed the surface, and bonded each skin to MR MDF to create installation-ready modules with consistent batching and tone.
In total we produced 312 clad boards covering 542 m². The specification called for genuine materiality—subtle tonal movement, soft sheen and depth of colour—achieved through careful hand finishing rather than printed or coated look-alikes. The scheme demonstrates our capability to deliver large-scale interior metalwork with tight quality control and clear communication from sampling to handover.
For similar projects, we supply aged brass sheets (often specified as antique brass sheets) for panel fabrication and interior wall applications.
