Denmark Univeristy cut sieving time by over 85% with the Russell AMPro®Lab Sieve Station

DTU Construct primarily works with stainless steel 316L powder, with plans to expand into other metal powders. Initially, the team used a standard 25 cm vibrating sieve alongside its metal 3D printer. However, this method soon proved inefficient and labor-intensive.
Sieving the powder to achieve particles under 63 microns took up to four hours per half-liter bottle. Researchers frequently had to stop to disassemble and clean the sieve. This disrupted workflows and consumed valuable time in the lab.
