The King’s School Library - Chester

Library lighting needs to be correct to ensure that people are reading and learning in the best possible environment.

King’s School, Chester chose to continue to work with Dextra Group to help upgrade the lighting in its library, working with LET Electrical.

The school prides itself on excellence and as such was voted the Sunday Times School Guide’s Independent Secondary School of the Year in the North West for 2024.

The King’s School is an independent, academically selective school taking girls and boys from ages 4-18 years old and it is proud to have been educating children in Chester for 475 years.

It is a school that blends its long-standing traditions with 21st Century innovations to offer a truly outstanding education. Its schools consist of Willow Lodge (age 4-7 years), The Junior School (age 7-11 years), The Senior School (age 11-16 years) and Sixth Form (age 16-18 years).

It is committed to upgrading its buildings and rooms to help drive efficiencies and maximise energy savings.
