The Tower of London
Helo Works, commissioned by MCD Heritage, recently completed a prestigious project at Historic Royal Palaces’ Tower of London. Meticulously restoring the Medieval Palace. We crafted and installed high-end joinery display cases made from solid oak, featuring striking graphic panels enhanced with gold leaf gilding.
The Medieval Palace Restoration
The project aimed to revive the regal splendour of the Medieval Palace, allowing visitors to experience the lives of monarchs like Henry III and Edward I. Five newly refurbished rooms, including royal chambers and grand throne rooms, are now open, offering a firsthand look at how these historical figures lived, ruled, and entertained within the Tower's historic walls.

Project Challenges and Success
Helo Works delivered the on-site installations within a demanding eight-week timeframe. The project involved strict limitations on altering the historic building fabric, rigorous security protocols, and complex operational constraints inherent to working within a site like the Tower of London. Despite these significant challenges, the project was successfully completed to the satisfaction of all involved.
