Product Description

The PVPRO USB A & C, C only and Dual C chargers have been designed to accept wide inputs of 9-32Vdc from the vehicle’s / vessels electrical system to convert to 5Vdc to charge smart phones, Ipads and tablets, negating the need for an additional converter.

The products are available in an IP65 (except connector) format comprising of the PVPWP and PV65R series approved for automotive use with Reg-10 E marking.  The chargers can be used for a variety of applications and installed in harsher environments where dust and moisture ingress are prevalent.

As well as standard (rear fit), all models are also available in front fit versions. This is a popular option for when rear space access is limited, and also allows for quick removal and replacement if required.

Output power performance has also been enhanced. As well as charging both Apple and Android mobile phones, the USB-C models offer higher current outputs for limited charge assistance on tablets and laptops.

Standard versions require only 20mm (typical) rear space and can easily be installed in bus and coach seat backs, walls and dashboards. A series of installation pod designs enable retrofit options for underseat, table and wall mounting. 

Additionally, the chargers can come with three different coloured rings—light grey, dark grey, and black—allowing for customisable styling to suit any vehicle interior.

A charger-only version is also available for permanent, behind-the-scenes installations without a customer interface, available with a USB-A or USB-C connector. Part numbers are PV-USB2 and PV-USB2-C respectively.

For front fit versions, please add the suffix Ff, e.g. PVPro-ACFf, PV65R-CCFf, PVPWp-CFf etc. The detachable ring in both standard and front fit format can be customised for branding and advertising purposes.
