Silver nitrate works by chemically cauterising the skin to stop bleeding and destroys any unwanted tissue making it an effective treatment for warts and verrucae and. This process kills warts and verrucae, turning the dead skin black, and allowing it be filed away using the emery board in the wart and verruca treatment pack. Avoca by Bray silver nitrate pencils are available in 95% and 40% strengths. The silver nitrate is dispensed in a plastic case with a push on cap. Our wart and verruca treatment is supplied with an emery file. All Avoca by Bray silver nitrate pencils are designed as single patient, multiple use treatments.
