Cornerstone Promix Basecoat Fibered is a dry ready mixed lime render and plaster designed as a coarse basecoat or floatcoat within an appropriate render system. Available in the colour white.

Engineered with precision utilising 100% pure natural hydraulic lime, natural sands, conservation-appropriate additives and fibres. The enhanced physical and mechanical characteristics create a high-performance, breathable basecoat render. The addition of fibres assists with mitigating cracking and shrinkage while improving the stress distribution of the render. Available as standard with Saint-Astier® NHL2 or NHL3.5. Other binders and mix ratios are available upon request.

Well-suited as a fibered basecoat for additional reinforcement and improved tensile strength, especially for high-suction backgrounds.

Promix Basecoat Fibered suits various rendering and plastering applications including coarse render coats, dubbing out, scat coats, scratch coats and float coats where a fibered mix will be appropriate. A 25kg bag yields approximately 15 litres of lime render or plaster and covers roughly 1.5m² at a 10mm thickness. Consumption rates will change based on how even the background is and suction. On-site trials are advised for the best yield indication for your specific project.

As natural products, our kiln-dried sands may exhibit variations in colour, texture, and shape. While these variations are minimal, when colour consistency is crucial, we strongly advise each elevation is completed using material from the same batch.

Supplied in 25kg polythene-lined and colour and batch-code paper bags for easy identification on-site and palletised for ease of transport, storage, and handling. FIBC tonne bags are also available.
