We are leading manufacturers of floor pressure mats and pressure pads.

Floor pressure mats will detect a person walking over or standing on them. The smaller pressure pads may also be used in the same way or to detect a person sitting in a chair or lying in bed.

Pressure Mats were initially designed for security applications to comply with the British standard BS 4737 Part 3 : Section 3.9. They provide a low cost covert method of detecting a person and will provide years of service.

Many other applications have been found for these floor pressure mats / pads such as, patient care, sensors for interactive toys, educational devices, sensors for interactive multimedia systems, i.e. when a person treads on a floor mat a multimedia presentation is triggered.

We are able to manufacture custom size mats and pads with alternative cables, with or without plugs.
