Hemp insulation for walls and roofs
Thermafleece NatraHemp is a medium density hemp insulation for walls and roofs which is rich in hemp fibres.  NatraHemp contains 60% hemp, 30% recycled polyester and 10% polyester binder with a high recycled content and is a safe, efficient and durable alternative insulation when plant fibre is the preferred choice.

Hemp has been grown to produce fibre for at least 3,000 years, particularly for cloth and rope. Today it is increasing in popularity once more as an eco-friendly substitute for many wood and cotton products, and as an annual plant, it is much more renewable than trees, as well as providing a faster return for growers. Unlike cotton, a hemp crop requires little fertiliser and no pesticides or herbicides. It is affected by no specific pests or diseases, and its growth is so vigorous that it will even out-compete any weeds.

Thermafleece NatraHemp fits securely between rafters, joists and studs providing excellent thermal insulation performance. What’s more, with a density of 28 kg/m3, Thermafleece NatraHemp can provide good acoustic insulation in a variety of systems.

Thermafleece NatraHemp has a thermal conductivity of 0.040W/mK and complies with fire resistance BS5803-4.
