Still time to answer the Made in Britain 2025 Exports Survey

The survey, which seeks to support British manufacturers exporting their products worldwide, closes in a week.

Time is running out for Made in Britain members to submit their responses to the 2025 Exports Survey, and support our research into how British exporters can succeed and gain competitive advantages across the world.

The Exports Survey is a series of eleven questions designed to help manufacturers export globally, with the findings being used by Made in Britain to better understand the trends, challenges and opportunities that come with the international exporting market.

It is hoped that the survey and its responses will shape a roadmap for future growth in the global exports market for British manufacturers, and outline ways in which the official Made in Britain trademark can be used to your advantage.

It has garnered a strong response from our members so far, and there are still a few days left for you to have your say, with the survey closing on Wednesday 15th October.

John Pearce, CEO at Made in Britain, said:

“The Exports Survey provides a great opportunity for us to hear from you, the members, on how we can best support your business and help maximise your exporting potential. Responses to this survey will help us gauge the export landscape across the world and better prepare our members for international trade nuances; and in the process we hope it will provide better outcomes for British manufacturers.

“Thriving not just domestically but also internationally is a key part of the Made in Britain mission, and surveys like this can help us support our members in this ambition, connecting their products with a larger customer base in nations that might have their own unique trade barriers or complexities compared to the United Kingdom.”

The survey follows on from the success of our 2023 Exports Survey, which found that as many as 95% of UK manufacturers believed a product being identifiable as ‘Made in Britain’ helped boost sales in the majority of international countries.

The findings from the overall survey will be shared with all members of the Made in Britain network in the form of an exports report, published in advance of International Trade Week - which takes place from the 3rd-7th November.

Made in Britain will also use the findings in discussions with UK trade bodies to try and provide better outcomes for British exporters, as well as with key government departments and sections of the media, to not only amplify the importance of the message around British export potential, but also open doors for our members to secure contracts and tenders moving forward.

You have until Wednesday 15th October to submit your entries, so be sure to have your say by visiting the survey link here.
