Alfacharge R Series Wireless Chargers Certified to EN 50155 (EN 50121-3-2), EN50498 and EN 61373.

The Alfacharge Railway Series Wireless chargers offer a wide input of 9-32Vdc / output 5Vdc and are designed specifically for train, tram, and rail installations for charging mobile phones, tablets & other devices.

The ALR1 Series Wireless Charger Module is designed for integration into railway equipment such as passenger seating and table tops. This module is typically housed in apparatus that enables mobile phones to be retained in position on rolling stock during charging.

The charging element is placed within 0.7mm of the casing exterior to allow for maximum performance in a wide range of situations. When designing housing equipment, we recommend keeping the active face of the unit within 5.0mm of the passenger accessible area.

The ALR3-V Wireless Charger is designed for installation into table tops on rolling stock, allowing passengers to charge their devices on the move. The unit is installed through an 80.0mm hole in the table and secured underneath, providing an unobtrusive and functional enhancement of the passenger experience.

Both wireless chargers permit installation at vehicle build stage or as part of a retrofit activity.

The wireless receiver of the charging unit will automatically detect the presence of suitably enabled mobile devices and will typically charge through a case up to 3.0mm thick.
