Bemis remains family owned to this day, with a heritage dating back 4 generations, all the way to 1901. From woodworking and furniture making to toilet seats, the Bemis Manufacturing Company has grown into an international enterprise with manufacturing and warehousing facilities worldwide.

Bemis acquired a manufacturing facility in Burnley, Lancashire in 1987 and began its journey from assembling moulded wood seats to manufacturing plastic toilet seats, Bemis UK has since grown from strength to strength. Local production ensures constant stock availability for our customers, short lead times and lower carbon footprint due to reduced transportation.
