Focus SB® is an established British premium electrical accessories manufacturer based across three sites in St Leonards on Sea in East Sussex, manufacturing and finishing in-house in the UK. 

We commenced trading in 1979 and export to Asia, West Africa, Malta and the Middle East. In 2004 we became the only UK electrical accessory manufacturer with total control of its manufacturing processes in-house.

In 2017 we made history in our industry when we became the first and only British and European manufacturer to gain CQC factory accreditation to supply and sell electrical accessories directly from Europe to mainland China, also gaining full CCC licence for all of our products for the Chinese marketplace.

Combining traditional methods of manufacturing complemented by the latest technology, every single distinctive product has elements of hand finishing by our skilled technicians and artisans and every product is hand assembled in Great Britain. As well as producing quality products, much of our press tooling is designed and made by our experienced in-house mechanical engineers.

Our engineering and state-of-the-art auto finishing facility enables us to be flexible and reactive to customer demands. In addition to the £150,000 investment in our auto finishing plant in 2017 we are continuing to expand our finishing facilities whilst also investing in 'green energy' initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint such as installation of solar panels in June 2022.

Corporate social responsibility

We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint by taking all appropriate measures to minimise any impact on the environment throughout the business from operational to manufacturing processes. Our green energy investment plans have seen us install solar panels, LED lighting and electric car charging points.  Laser marking technology enables us to offer a standard alternative to screen printing, for improved fine detail quality and to significantly limit the use of environmentally damaging consumables and reduce waste.
