A Common-Sense Approach to Hand Arm Vibration

HAVSco Limited created a concept for the HAVSense Hand Arm Vibrationmeasurement system and converted it into a product in 2005.  This was when the EU was developing the ‘Physical Agents’ Directive’.  This Directive included vibration as a potential health hazard that needs to be ‘controlled’.

HAVSco developed the first personal Hand Arm Vibration dosimeter, which determines, measures, and records the actual vibration exposure at the point where the vibrations enter the hand. Worn under the glove on either hand, the HAVSense dosimeters provide accurate vibration exposure data from any source of vibration. This means no reliance on inconsistent manufacturer’s data, or theoretical data from external sources.
