I'm Michael Baker a stone artisan from North Manchester I have been designing, producing and bringing to market a line of luxury and  historic stonework which includes coasters, coaster holders and double coasters and large coasters. The stone itself is Victorian era street stone quarried around 200 years ago. After surviving World War ll bombings, urban regeneration and being covered over with tarmac since the 1970s. It has laid undisturbed beneath the streets until now. With Yorkstone and gritstone types I'am are currently re-purposing, these products will be full of character and history. 
I have just had the packaging finished, which can be bespoke to suit everyone’s needs. I also now have the Made in Britain trademark, the stone has all the boxes ticked in regards to repurposing, heritage, ethically sourced, low carbon footprint to go along with a wonderful story.
