Our History

Now benefiting from two decades of unmistakable family values within The Kitchen Depot team, our core values of honesty, integrity and professionalism are every bit as evident today as they were when we first opened our doors all those years ago. 

Founded by the McCay family, husband and wife Jim and Grace McCay opened their first showroom doors in Telford in 2003. From the very beginning, family kitchens were at the forefront of the vision, and still to this day we’re creating beautiful kitchens that the whole family can enjoy. 

In 2022, The Kitchen Depot now has 17 showrooms across the UK. Our showrooms are locally owned and run by our Showroom Owners who manage their stores with great pride in their local communities, with the same care and passion as the McCay's had with their first showroom.
