Process Capabilities

Hallam has an excellent range of modern fully or semi-automatic processing equipment within its three main processing units of pressure diecasting, CNC machining and powder coating.  Capacity has expanded over the past four years and Hallam is committed to a program of continuous modernisation and automation of its full range of manufacturing equipment and processes. 

Hallam has more than 40 UK or European OEM customers and supplies a wide range of components, assemblies and finished products to them. Hallam has developed strong partnership relationships with customers and assists with new product development, offering DFM and process advice including costed comparison of alternative processes (e.g. fabrication/casting/pressing).

Hallam offers sophisticated prototyping facilities including Solidworks Professional CAD for modelling and simulation, CNC machining, 3D printing (including additive metal) together with investment, sand or gravity casting for prototyping or production work. Concept design services are also offered and Hallam has assisted with concept development in a wide range of sectors including construction, lighting and medical and veterinary products.
