Hopefully the Government announcing a roadmap out of lockdown this week will signal some clearer timelines for businesses to start planning towards. Whilst true that the phased approach means the green light to open back up is still some way off for many businesses, the fact that there is a timeline does mean there is at least some clarity for organisations to look towards.
Many manufacturers have operated throughout this 3rd lockdown, including Ecotile, with a good amount of orders to fulfil. However, we had seen some businesses putting their refurbishment projects on hold towards the end of last year, with the uncertainty over how long this latest lockdown would last being a contributing factor.
Over the past 2 weeks it’s been really interesting to note a positive pattern emerging, with businesses who had previously enquired about our products now starting to get back in touch following their flooring projects being put on hold in the last quarter of 2020. To us this was a positive sign that businesses are starting to feel a little more confident about kick starting their business plans, backed by the glimmer of optimism that the roadmap out of lockdown will ultimately bring.
