Government departments publish SME action plans

A NUMBER of government departments have published ‘SME action plans’ on their websites as part of the UK government’s aspiration to level the playing field for small and medium-sized businesses.

The websites say they offer commitments to taking action to ensure that the SME sector is well represented in the work and delivery of government and reaffirm the government's role in enabling the proportion of public procurement spend that goes to SMEs.
