We've officially launched our third annual Made in Britain Impact Awards! We can't wait to see all the entries and hear the incredible stories from our members. To take the awards one step further to exciting, for the first time, they will take place in person on 6th November 2024. Below, you’ll find more information about our entry criteria and FAQs about the awards, categories and the awards day.
Entry Criteria
To ensure your entry or entries for the Made in Britain Impact Awards 2024 have the best chance of success, we've put together some brief entry requirements:
- Entry is open to all Made in Britain members (the Entrant)
- The Awards are free to enter
- Only one entry per category is allowed per Entrant
- An Entrant may enter as many categories as they wish
- Entries must be submitted online through the dedicated page on the Made in Britain website
- Each category has differing judging criteria. We have included it here to assist you.
- Please provide as much detail as possible, including measurable results achieved such as increased sales or ROI figures etc
-Our judges are volunteers giving their time freely to celebrate UK Manufacturing. The judge's decision is final. - Made in Britain want to celebrate your achievements. Shortlisted Entrants must agree to the use of their entry in Made in Britain marketing
- Shortlisted Entrants must agree to take part in publicity arranged by Made in Britain, including photography/videography of the awards ceremony

Entering the awards:
How do I submit my entry into the awards?
Entries can only be accepted via the official Made in Britain Impact Awards entry forms. There are separate forms for each category, so please ensure you use the correct one and please also ensure you read the entry criteria above before submitting your entry or entries.
How many categories can I enter?
You can enter as many categories as you wish, as long as you meet the eligibility requirements for the category.
How much does it cost to enter the awards?
The awards are free to enter and are available exclusively to Made in Britain members only.
When is the deadline for entries?
All submissions must be received by 12 noon on Friday, 6th September 2024.
Will my submission be confidential?
Yes – all awards submissions will be treated as highly confidential. Only the Made in Britain Impact Awards team and the judging panel will view them.
What happens after I submit my entry/entries?
Our commitment to you, we will:
• Review all submissions against the set criteria (if you’ve missed anything important, we’ll contact you to clarify);
• Send your submission to the judging panel;
• Let you know if you’ve been shortlisted;
• Announce the shortlists on the Made in Britain website and social media channels;
• Announce the winners
How will winners be decided?
Each of the judges will rank the entries in order of preference. The winner will be the entry with the most first places. If these are tied then second places, third places, etc., will be considered. In the event of a draw, the head judge will have the final casting vote on the ultimate winner. If there is only one entry for a category, judges will be asked to recommend whether any award should be made.
Can I enter again if I participated in previous years?
Of course! We welcome repeat entrants. The only exclusion is for individuals who won an individual category in previous years (E.g. inspiring leader).
If I entered last year, can I enter again with the same product or service?
Previous category winners cannot enter with the same product or service. However, all other entrants, including those who were shortlisted, can enter the same product or service again, providing the supporting data shows results from this year.
I have a product that is not fully manufactured in the UK, can I still enter?
The product must be a product that meets the Made in Britain guidelines for the use of the Trademark.
Our product is not innovative but what we do with it is. Can I enter the innovation category?
Yes, of course you can. We can't wait to hear more about it.
I cannot attend the event. Can I still enter?
Attendance should not be a barrier to entry. If you want to send a proxy to collect any awards you might win, you are entitled to purchase a discounted ticket for them
Can I supply pictures or video to support my application?
If you feel pictures or video would be helpful to support your application, please note this on the form and the judge can request it is required
Our product has not launched yet, are we able to enter it and have a confidentiality agreement?
All entries will remain confidential until the closing date. After the closing date (6th September 2024) the entries will be submitted to external, independent judges.
Your entry will be deemed to be in the public domain after this point.

How much does it cost to attend?
Full-price tickets cost £50 per person. However, every entrant will be offered a 50% discount on purchased tickets to attend the Awards Event. You can buy as many tickets as you want.
How many discounted tickets can I buy?
Entrants can buy as many discounted tickets as they want
Is it OK to bring guests who are not part of my company?
Of course, the more the merrier! Entrants are free to give their purchased tickets to clients, suppliers, and other guests.
What does the ticket include?
You'll enjoy relevant educational and inspirational content from speakers, live award announcements and prize-giving, networking opportunities, coffee and pastries on arrival, and a hot fork buffet with dessert.
Do I have to attend the entire day?
The Awards will be spread evenly throughout the day so you may miss your category announcement if you arrive late or leave early
What happens if I said I did not want tickets when I entered, but I have changed my mind?
No problem at all. You can apply for tickets via this link and or contact membership@madeinbritain.org just add a note to say you have entered the awards and want to purchase your discounted tickets.
I have entered and bought tickets, but I need more tickets, is that possible?

How do I get there?
BY CAR - Midlands Safari Park is located on the A456 between Kidderminster and Bewdley. If using a Satnav use postcode DY12 1LF. Parking is free on site.
BY BUS - The bus service that runs past the Safari Park is as follows: 125 - Stourbridge to Bridgnorth via Kidderminster & Bewdley. 292 - Kidderminster to Ludlow via Bewdley. To plan your journey, please visit www.tfwm.org.uk or visit www.diamondbuses.com
BY TRAIN - Kidderminster Train Station is the nearest to the Safari Park and is an 11-minute drive from the park. For train times and prices, please visit www.nationalrail.co.uk or call 03457 48 49 50. Taxis are available at the train station and can be pre-booked.
BY TAXI - It costs approximately £10 from Kidderminster Train Station to the Safari Park.
