EXPORTS and international trade have the potential to take a company’s turnover and sales to new levels. There is wide, global demand for British products and business.
Made in Britain is delighted to launch a programme of webinars on exporting and international trade, exclusively for Made in Britain members. The programme’s primary aim is to support members to increase their chances of export success, exploring the opportunities and challenges.
We begin with the USA and Canada on 7 September, given the size of the two markets, relative ease of doing business (ranked 6th and 23rd easiest in the world, respectively), as well as alignment on culture and language. The USA is the UK’s largest trading partner, and the number one destination for the UK’s export of goods, accounting for 15.1 per cent of all UK goods exports (for the year to end of Q1 2021).
The first three dates for your diary are:
- Exporting to North America (USA and Canada) - 7 September 2021. Click here to book your place.
- Government funding for SMEs in England to break into new markets - 21 September 2021. Click here to book your place.
- Exporting to Australia - 5 October 2021. Click here to book your place.
Please note timings for the sessions vary, due to speakers dialling in from overseas and time differences.
Look out for details on further sessions in November, December and beyond, which we will publish here on the Made in Britain website in the coming weeks.
The international trade webinar programme will focus on different geographies and, in due course, specific product categories. It will also help introduce Made in Britain members to the range of support available. Sessions will be practically focused and wherever possible offer plenty of time for Q&A.
