Katy Moss, Managing Director at Trent Refractories and Made in Britain non-executive board member was a guest on the latest episode of Northern Business Podcast. Katy was also joined by John Elliot, Chairman of washing machine manufacturer Ebac, and innovation specialist, Pat Cambage.
In the podcast, they discussed the UK's progress towards Net Zero and the government's recent announcement that it is considering rowing back on.
"[Refractory] has been innovating since the eighties using recycled materials, so in terms of how the industry appears on the face value, its circular economy has been leading the way for a long time" Katy explains.
Katy also discusses her passion for keeping refractory skills in the UK and her role as a Made in Britain Non-executive board member.
