During our 60th year as a British manufacturer, we are expanding our wide range of 19” rack mount power distribution unit’s (PDUs) to include our new 1U 13A PDU.
Following an innovative design, we can now offer this range with 13A sockets in a 1U height. Designed in house in the UK we are proud to now launch our 1U 13A UK socket outlet, sold as standard in white but also available in black and fully compliant to BS 1363-2.
Innovation and British manufacturing have combined to utilise this new 1U socket and create a brand new 1U 19” rack mount PDU range from Olson. Designed to save the installer valuable space in their installation the compact metal work is a mere 44mm high and 68mm deep.
The light weight but robust Zintec steel construction makes this 1U range a durable product and is finished in a tough black powder coating. Manufactured, assembled and powder coated all on site at our Stanmore, London based headquarters and manufacturing facility. Powder coated black as standard however available on request to any RAL colour to suit your installation.
Available as standard in either up to 7x 13A UK socket outlets or 4x UK and 4x C13 10A sockets. As standard the UK socket outlet versions are sold with 7x outlets with a choice of a 2m lead and 13A UK plug or a 3m lead and 16A plug. If you require less outlets please specify when ordering. The combination units are also available with the two plug variations. Surge protection and an illuminated main switch are fitted as standard throughout this new range, as is the earth bonding via an external M5 earth stud fitted with a 250mm earth lead. In addition to the standard offerings discussed, this range is subject to customisation as most ranges from Olson are. If you or your customers have a specification, we can utilise our on-site production processes and develop custom made products. Due to our manufacturing flexibility, we can accommodate one offs or full production runs to suit all requirements.
Above all else the main differentiator to our new 1U tee socket range is that it is UK designed and fully independently tested and compliant to BS 1363-2.
