At Spiroflow’s new test facility in Darwen, UK, we recently conducted a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) to demonstrate our advanced material handling solutions. The test showcased three custom-designed Spiroflow Type 6 bulk bag dischargers working with a 6-inch Cablevey tubular drag conveyor, tailored for precise and efficient unloading and conveyance of powdered materials. These systems are engineered to meet strict Workplace Exposure Limits (WELs) and prevent contamination, ensuring high standards of safety and hygiene.
Each bulk bag discharger features an “I” beam hoist for seamless loading and sealed glove boxes to safeguard operators handling potentially hazardous materials. The equipment is made of smooth, crevice-free stainless steel to promote hygiene and ensure smooth material flow. Transparent connection points enhance visibility and facilitate adjustments during testing.
