Daikin Applied has announced the launch of the new Modular T series, the latest addition to the Daikin portfolio of Air Handling Units (AHU’s).
The fully optimised design of the compact Modular T, incorporating high-quality components and the latest technology, delivers a long working life and a high level of efficiency, ensuring exceptional indoor air quality
Creating a healthier environment
Every day we spend more than 90% of the time in an indoor environment but we seldom ask ourselves “How good is the air I breathe? Could it be dangerous for my health?”
All environments contain airborne pathogens, VOCs, CO2 and particulate matter. The concentration of these contaminants could potentially pose a threat to the health of building occupants.
Daikin’s Modular T AHU filters outside air to remove external pollutants prior to supply and simultaneously extracts inside air, decreasing the concentration of indoor pollutants to ensure a constant supply of healthy fresh air.
Advanced features combine to provide an innovative solution
Available in five different sizes, with an air flow range from 200 m3/h up to more than 4000 m3/h, the Daikin Modular T offers an exceptional solution for diverse applications including schools, offices, gyms, shops.
- Air purity is guaranteed, with three separate stages of filtration ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
- Plug and play connection, together with the DX Coil enables combination with VRV or ERQ condensing units to provide a complete fresh air solution, unique to Daikin.
- An integral mixing damper helps optimise consumption to reduce running costs.
Together with a comprehensive choice of accessories, these features make Modular T one of the most complete and compact AHU ranges on the market.
Its minimal footprint is one of the defining characteristics of the new Modular T unit. With a maximum depth of 890 mm for the largest model, installation has never been simpler. Other sizes in the range are equally compact at 790mm, while the smallest unit (size 03) is only 550mm deep. In addition, larger models are supplied in sections for fast, easy transportation and handling.
