A Decade of Dedication… Team Members Celebrate 10 Years at UKCM

Four members of the team at UK Container Maintenance (UKCM) have met major career milestones, celebrating a significant ten years of service at the family-owned firm.

Liz Wolstenholme, Danielle McIntosh, Nick Buckley and Jorge Morriera, were each presented with an award to mark their 10th anniversary at the Winsford-based company, which is the UK’s largest container repair and refurbishment specialist.

Throughout their many years of dedicated service, the team has continued to go from strength to strength.  Finance and Operations Director, Liz Wolstenholme, joined UKCM as Finance Director and was appointed to the Board in 2016 alongside Emma and Julian Elston. A much-valued member of the team, her role expanded into Operations as well as ensuring the company maintains its ISO and SafeContractor accreditations. Liz is also the IOSH Senior Health and Safety Officer in addition to holding the CPC Operators license for the company fleet.

Nick Buckley, is one of UKCM’s Head of On-site Welders & Fabricators, and is an integral part of the company. Nick supports the mobile maintenance crews, and visits customers around the UK providing essential maintenance and repairs on larger containers such as Rollonoff and Compaction Containers. He also carries out container safety audits for customers on their larger container stocks. Nick’s position is vital in supporting UKCM’s national and regional customers.  

Over the last ten years at UKCM, team member Jorge has excelled in his career progressing from his role as a Container Fitter to Head of Quality Control. Furthermore, Danielle, who started at the leading repair and refurbishment company as On-site Manager, took on new roles within the company and was promoted to On-Site and Production Manager.

Emma Elston MBE, Chief Executive of UKCM, congratulated the team members and said, “I am exceptionally proud of and very grateful for our amazing UKCM family, who go above and beyond for the company each and every day with so much passion and determination.

It is inspiring to see our employees progressing in their career and I am delighted that Liz, Danielle, Nick and Jorge have been celebrated for ten outstanding years of service.”
