AllSfär launch ‘magical mushroom’ acoustic wall tile

AllSfär has partnered with leading mushroom packaging manufacturer, the Magical Mushroom Companyâ (MMC) to create a new range of acoustic wall tiles called FIKA. The tiles are made from mycelium which is grown exclusively in the UK by MMC. These organic tiles, which also contain industrial hemp, were launched by AllSfär during Clerkenwell Design Week (23-25 May) at the company’s new Showroom on Baltic Street East, London.

Mycelium is a root-like structure of a mushroom and industrial hemp is increasingly being grown as a more sustainable option. AllSfär is committed to making products that have a minimal impact on our planet, and the company’s sustainable credentials will be further enhanced by this new offer which is 100% biodegradable and completely safe for use across commercial settings.

Morgan Doouss, AllSfär founder, says: “Operating sustainably is important to us, our customers, and their clients. Continuous innovation to provide more sustainable products is at the heart of our organisational purpose and FIKA is a great example of taking naturally occurring materials to create something beautiful and functional.

Potential customers keen to see and feel this exciting new product - which also delivers on the acoustic properties AllSfär is famous for - can find the first three designs at the company’s Clerkenwell Showroom during CDW. The company’s expert team will be on hand to explain how FIKA is made, its acoustic properties and sustainable credentials.  Free samples will also be available to take away.
