Banelec Complete Tough Mudder Raising nearly £2k for Birmingham Children's Hospital

On the 22nd May, some of the team from Banelec took part in a Tough Mudder event in memory of Managing Director, Dean Banner's Nephew, Daniel Banner; raising £1890.00 for Birmingham Children's Hospital.

Daniel would have been 18 this year but was sadly taken too soon; doctors and staff at Birmingham Children's Hospital were amazing when he was treated there, so in his memory we wanted to give something back to this amazing charity.

The Tough Mudder event consisted of 20 obstacles spread over a 10km route; from climbing to swinging, plunging into ice water to electroshock therapy... and you've guessed it, a whole load of MUD!!

The team did an amazing job to complete the course in the sweltering heat; and they had such a good time, they may even be considering signing up again next year!!
