Benmor Medical Achieve ISO 14001 Certification

Benmor Medical are pleased to announce they are now ISO 14001 certified following a successful audit by QMS International.

ISO 14001 is an internationally recognized standard that sets the requirements for an environmental management system. The system allows identification, management and control of environmental issues.

The decision to add ISO 14001 to Benmor's existing certifications was largely influenced by the companies environmental goals.

The NHS have committed to achieving Net Zero by 2040 for emissions that they control directly and by 2045 for the emissions that they influence for example those created by suppliers. As a supplier to the NHS it was important for Benmor to put the necessary processes in place to improve and control performance in this respect.

In addition to taking the necessary steps to align with targets set by the NHS, ISO 14001 will enable the company to be more efficient, keep up with fast changing regulations and increase engagement internally with employees. The ultimate goal will be to benefit from improving reputation and confidence of stakeholders.

“We recognize the implications our services have on the environment so this certification is a step in the right direction as we work to continually improve our impact.”

Sophie Allen – Marketing Manager
