Blinded by awards! Caribbean Blinds shortlisted for three more

After a hugely successful awards year already, external shading experts, Caribbean Blinds has just found out that they have been shortlisted for another three, this time for the Suffolk Business Awards 2021 and The Build It Awards 2021.

Shortlisted for the SME of the Year and the Scale Up Business of the Year Award at the Suffolk Business Awards 2021 after another incredible year of growth and progress has been a huge boost to this dynamic team.

Open to all types and sizes of businesses across the region, The Suffolk Business Awards bring the county’s business community together to celebrate each other’s achievements and highlight the leaders in each industry. Finalists will be announced 27th October and the winners will be crowned at our awards ceremony on Thursday 18 November.

In addition to this, one of Caribbean Blinds’ most popular product lines – the Antiguan External Blind – has been shortlisted for the ‘Innovation in Insulation’ award at the 2021 Build It Awards.

The Build It Awards (in association with BuildStore) are the most sought-after accolade within the self-build industry. They recognise excellence across the board in self-build products, services, suppliers and projects.

Winners will be announced at a special awards dinner on 26th November.

Stuart Dantzic, Managing Director at Caribbean Blinds commented: “We have been blown away by the success we have had over the last year with a raft of award nominations and wins, and this recognition validates the hard work that the whole team puts in with no exception. We all work tirelessly to deliver exceptional quality shading systems, and whether specifying, making or installing, everyone plays a vital role in the success of the company. To be rewarded and recognised for this makes it all worthwhile and we are keeping our fingers crossed now for the finals!”

Already this year, Caribbean Blinds has achieved a double award shortlisting at the Growing Business Awards 2021, being shortlisted in both the ‘Consumer Business of the Year’ and ‘Family-Owned Business of the Year’ categories, where judges were looking for evidence of increased market penetration, consistent profitable growth, a positive impact on the industry, and finally, a competitive edge. The team is excited to be attending the award ceremony on 24th November at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.

Added to this and for the second year running, Caribbean Blinds has won at the national Real Homes Awards in The Great Outdoors category with their hugely popular Cuba Awning product being crowned ‘The Best of the Best’ against stiff competition.
