THIS week, 7-13 February 2022, is National Apprenticeships Week and Made in Britain is lending its support.
Like many of its members, Made in Britain believes apprentices are the lifeblood and future of manufacturing. Recruiting and training young people in a useful trade is a tradition that the manufacturing sector has proudly pursued for decades. Many apprentices go on to be leaders of the businesses that took them on.
All this week we will be adding stories of members' apprentices, like this one from Nelo at Excell Metal Spinning in Portsmouth.
Tell us your apprentice stories on our social media channels and join us on Twitter at 13:00 on Thursday, when we will be devoting #MadeinBritainHour to the young girls and boys learning to make in Britain.
