CompeteFor session wrap-up

CompeteFor is a free supplier platform that enables businesses to compete for contract opportunities linked to large-scale public and private sector buying organisations.  Current organisations using the site to procure supplies include:

- HS2
- Sizewell C
- UK Parliament
- Heathrow
- Network Rail
- Skanska Costain Strabag
- Mace Dragados

Made in Britain members were told by CompeteFor on 13th June that by registering for free as a supplier on the platform, companies can receive access to supply chain opportunities and tailored business opportunities via daily email alerts.
 
Opportunities for manufacturers shared by CompeteFor fall across a range of sectors, including:
 
- Construction
- Health 
- IT, digital and creative
- Transport and distribution
 
CompeteFor began as part of the London 2012 Games supply chain development. It is on this experience and capabilities that the CompeteFor programme continues to deliver innovative supply chain development services as a living legacy since 2012. To date, over 20,000 business opportunities have been made available via CompeteFor, with 75% of CompeteFor awarded contracts going to SMEs.

The session forms part of Made in Britain's programme of activity on UK government procurement.
