Way back in 2019, before all our lives changed, muggi won the BBC 2 daytime show episode, The Customer is Always Right and claimed the lightbulb trophy!
The muggi tray is Earth’s most versatile mug holder, an innovative product which enables hot and cold drinks to be carried safely in any busy working or home environment. The unique tray enables up to four mugs to be carried safely in one hand, leaving the other hand free to help to navigate around the workplace or home. It securely holds mugs and tumblers and catches any spills in the bottom of the tray; contributing to a reduction in slips, trips and stained carpets caused by spillages. Muggi has four non-slip rubber feet which allow it to rest safely on trolleys and uneven surfaces, whilst finger and thumb holds make it easy for anyone to carry.
Made from lightweight, but extremely tough recycled plastic, muggi comes in seven new vibrant colours - petrol blue, graphite grey, heather purple, rustic red, sage green, wet rock black and a sea plastic version in dark ocean green!
Originally, when David invented muggi, it was a simple solution to a very awkward problem; ''how can one carry and store more than one mug safely and securely on a listing boat in the middle of the English Channel?'' The answer may have come in an inspired moment of genius but what wasn't then apparent was just how much impact muggi would have on many people's lives.
muggi has delivered on its functional requirement to safely store and carry up to four mugs, glasses, beer bottles, cans, balls of wool, office stationery, hamsters, Easter eggs and more but what muggi has become to many is a sense of independence and freedom in relative safety. For many living with impaired mobility, dexterity and ranging disability muggi has become a true lifeline in aiding independent living for thousands of people around the world.
