Continuing our investment in the future, a new machine has arrived at Crabb Engineering. Once fully commissioned, the new HAAS UMC500 will manufacture complex components much more efficiently and, as a result, at a lower cost. Saving both time and money. The UMC-500 is a modern 5-Axis machining centre with 8100RPM spindle speed and 31+1 tool stations. It will take our capability one step further, helping to simplify the complex, and free up resources on other equipment.
We always work to ISO9001:2015 standards, producing high quality parts to exacting standards and tight tolerances, from singles to batch repeat runs, in ferrous and non-ferrous metals and in engineering plastics.
As we go forward, we will look to invest further in equipment and our staff.
